COME APK: From Entry Page to File to Installed App
Treat the entry page, APK file and installed app as separate objects. Completing one stage gives you a new check to make before moving to the next.
Stage one: the entry page
Open the destination and read what is available there. A web page can show categories and app-style navigation while remaining a browser page. Check the address and identify a specific Android download option, if offered, before assuming a file transfer has begun.
The screen does not identify the stage alone
The pictured COME interface has content categories and game tiles. Similar visual elements can be seen while browsing a service, so use the browser address bar, transfer history and Android app information to work out your actual stage.

Stage two: the completed file
Review the completed transfer in your browser or file manager. Compare the app name, version and source with the download listing. An HTML page saved offline is not an APK, and an unfinished transfer is not ready for installation. Avoid renaming a file to make it appear to be another format.
Stage three: Android installation
Open the checked file and read the installer prompts and any warnings. Keep Google Play Protect enabled. If installation conflicts with an existing app or is blocked by device policy, investigate that message before trying again or removing the current installation.
Stage four: opening the app
After installation completes, open the app and confirm the intended app information. Sign-in, account recovery and connection issues are separate tasks that can occur after installation. Keep notes about the exact stage so any help request describes the right problem.
